These engineers joined Google in order to bring their invention to a next level. After designing this system, ten different vehicles were put on road for testing this technology. These cars recently completed 300,000 miles of self-driving on roads without any accident.

It can solve the parking problems, driving issues etc. It can help in minimizing the road accidents that are becoming frequent worldwide. Limitations of Google Driverless Car :

There are however some limitations of this car. It has a certain speed limit that is repellent to many drivers. However, Google incorporation is working on it. Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said that they working on speed limit at a private racecourse and our car would eventually solve this speed problem.

Do not expect these cars very common within next ten years. Work is going on rapidly but there is a lot to do by the Company before this car gets commercial. After all, it is a great invention of artificial intelligence but not a human brain. Google experts said that they still need the car to learn new signboards and how to run on snow covered roads etc.

Recently this car got a legal status in California State. This will help Google to test its car in California streets. However, law has restricted that there should be a human passenger in the car. The car is also legal at Veneda state which passed the law a year ago allowing such cars on the road. The Google incorporation believes that this car will be the ultimate solution to all the traffic problems. It will help to use the roads efficiently and minimizing the risks of accidents.
