Samsung Electronics finally overtook Nokia Oyj as the largest mobile maker on the Earth ,last quarter . The Korean company finally ended the Finnish company ‘s reign as the global market leader after 14 years.

According to the Analysts, Samsung shipped 93.5 million smartphones which much more as compared to the 82.7 million for the second ranked , Nokia. Samsung shipped 36 percent more than that in a last year.
Samsung galaxy smartphones net earnings in the first quarter is 5.05 trillion (4.5 billion dollars) beating analysts’ estimates. Nokia last week reported 1.34 billion euros (1.8 billion) operating loss in the first quarter after the handset sales have slumped.
Apple also became the third largest mobile maker after a boom in its sales which are 35.1 million last quarter. Samsung also beated Apple and became the largest smartphone vendor in the world.
